Reiss will now represent Jamaica after winning silver for England in  men’s individual all-around event and a silver medal in the men’s floor at 2010 Commonwealth Games.

“2014 was a good year for me, I learnt a lot and made progress through not only my gymnastics career but my life too. I would like to announce that from today 1/1/15 I will be no longer competing for Great Britain, I will be competing for Jamaica. My time competing for Great Britain was the best it could have been and I would like to thank everyone who helped me and supported me through my career. Competing for Jamaica is an amazing opportunity for me to compete with the best in the world and help make my dream of competing in an Olympic Games a reality. #2015 #TeamJamaica”
