In Beijing (2008) alone, they brought home six gold, three silver and two bronze medals, ranking Jamaica at 14th position, over countries like Spain, Brazil, Denmark and Sweden. Jamaicans have seen the black, green and gold flag fly high since our first appearance at the Olympic Games in 1948.
